DR. SADEY BROECKER
Pediatric + Family Chiropractor
I'll never forget the first time I entered a hospital. It was for my older sister who had a bout of health challenges as a little girl. We were in Mayo Clinic and I just remember being mesmerized. The hustle and bustle, the nurses who seemed so caring and the doctors, so knowledgable. I was probably about five years old at that point and I remember the doctors doing absolutely everything they could to help my sister. I knew at that very moment that I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. I never went through the "I want to be an...astronaut, princess, cat, artist" part of life (though there's nothing I love more than an audacious goal!). I just always knew, "I want to be a doctor. I want to help people." And so I journeyed through life with my eyes set on the prize.
More than just being a doctor, though, I knew I wanted to work with kids. I have always loved kids and have had a playful, young energy about me. I'm a firm believer that we should never grow up- it's a trap!
I received my Bachelor in Science from St. Norbert College right here in De Pere, WI (Go Knights!) and shadowed a chiropractor for the first time in town. After shadowing endless healthcare providers, this was the first office that I walked into that everyone was truly HAPPY! The patients, the staff, the doctor. It was infectious, and I wanted in.
So off to chiropractic school I went. Palmer College of Chiropractic, where the field of chiropractic was founded, in Davenport, Iowa became home for almost four long years!
From there, I ended up interning at a world-renowned pediatric office in Crystal Lake, IL. After my internship, I continued to work for another 3 years alongside an all-star team taking on the toughest of the tough cases. Within those walls I saw miracles. I saw children say, "I love you" to their moms and dads for the first time. I saw IEP's being dropped left and right. I saw little girls get rid of anxiety and become confident in themselves. I saw pregnant women achieve the birth of their dreams. I saw babies sleep through the night, free of colic and reflux. The stories go on and on!
These stories are a part of me. That office is a part of me. And as much as I loved that chapter, I always knew the Green Bay area would be home for me again one day. I knew that I was needed elsewhere and I couldn't be happier to be serving this community! And guys, there will be miracles.
When I'm not hanging at the office, you can find me with my family, friends, and boyfriend Adam! They are my rock and the reason I am who I am today. I have an odd joy for the little things in life like receiving snail mail, jumping in puddles when it's raining, rocking a crazy new hair style, and Spongebob-shaped macaroni and cheese (guilty pleasure!). Life is so sweet and I just cannot wait to be a part of your family's health and wellness journey and be a part of this lovely community!
